In the 941 we’re blessed to have so many options from lessons for the beginner who’s been dying to learn to Salsa to the practiced dancer looking to compete in ballroom, the options here are endless. Whether it is ballroom or swing, two-step or hip-hop, cha-cha or samba, there’s a school to learn and a nightclub or venue to show off your skills.

With lead instructor Tim Schalch couples and singles can learn to line dance or the two-step or West Coast Swing on a Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 and then try it out on the club’s dance floor. Joyland Country Music Nightclub

Beyond Dancing

With its tagline, ‘Dance for your mind, body and soul,’ Beyond Dancing provides dance instruction for all folks of all ages and all abilities. With U. S. Dance Sport Championship Top Teacher of 2001 John Moldthan and his wife Debbie leading, students know they’re in good hands on the dancefloor. Classes at the Ballroom owf Sarasota, which Moldthan opened in 1993, for both Latin and ballroom dance, are available for groups, couples, singles and private lessons are also available. All the instructors are National Dance Council of America-certified and Ballroom of Sarasota describes itself as one of the top dance schools in the country. Dynasty Dance Clubs

Dynasty Dance Clubs in Sarasota is unique in that it is a dance school and a dance social club; one can take lessons and then attend a social dance at the studio to show off those steps. Dynasty teaches nightclub dancing including Latin and hip-hop among other dances.
