Orange Theory Fitness Co-sponsoring the BT5K

orange-theoryIn 2013 Denise Howell, 32 year old Sarasota resident was diagnosed with brain cancer. Without missing a beat she dove right in and began treatment—including 6 weeks of radiation and 13 weeks of chemotherapy. After many MRI’s, she is cancer free and thriving. She has became incredibly fit through her workouts at Orange Theory Fitness south Sarasota, and her story was so inspiring to them that Orange Theory Fitness jumped at the opportunity to co-sponsor the 2nd year of the BT5K, a 5K race.

This is a race in Tampa that was organized by Denies Howell and her 6 sisters, and the proceeds go towards brain cancer research with the hopes that, one day they’ll find a cure for this disease. Last year the registration donations to enter the race topped $7,000, and this year their goal is nearly triple that figure, at $20,000. Please register and help them reach their goal!

Come join Orange Theory Fitness and the Howell sisters on March 21st, to register go to BT5K.org.
